Preschool-5th Grade Parents

One of the fabulous perks of being part of a Catholic school is the community. Being a room parent offers many opportunities to connect with your child(ren), their friends, the teacher and the greater school community. Ideally, there will be 3 room parents per classroom in Preschool-3rd grade, and 2 per classroom for grades 4-5 - depending on level of volunteer interest in a particular classroom. Room Parent Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, executing class parties: Halloween (PS-3), Christmas (PS-5), Valentine's (PS-3), End of Year Celebration (PS-5).
• Communicate with the teacher regarding class parties and volunteer needs.
• Communicate with families via email and class Facebook page regarding class, school, and parish volunteer opportunities, social events, and important announcements.

6th-8th Grade Parents

6th-8th grades do not have designated "room parents" for the school year as in the younger grades. Teachers in 6th-8th grades will reach out separately to parents for volunteering throughout the year when needed; if you're interested in helping with 6th-8th grade events and activities, please reach out to your student's homeroom teacher. 6th-8th grade class parent volunteers may still be eligible for PFO reimbursement (up to $50/party/class) for Christmas and/or end of year if the teacher would like to do something to celebrate at those times.
